Sat Eve
« on: September 14, 2008, 02:32:27 AM »
Took a brand new rod right out front in Smoco looking for my first fall bass, had em on too but he fell off in the wash. White 5" shad. Next cast missed a hit. had a third fish blow up on and whiff on a light purple swimmer before it got dark. Switched to the back water and picked up 3 small, but spunky, weakies and dropped as many on pink zooms, missed a few hits too. couple more quick hits as well. Once that tide got going they shut down.

That's the kind of talk they use on the surf fishing forum that I hope never carries over here. Somoco= southern monmouth county, nomoco= northern monmouth county.
On this forum we're happy to share good fishing spots, there they call that "spot burning".
