Early trips saw a little " Hanna Hangover " from the still tinted water and
possibly a steep drop in salinity from the run-off, { just a guess but who
knows }but as the week progressed and the bay's water cleaned up the action
picked up as well ! Regulars Joe Franke , Jay Simmons and Ernie Rosenberg teamed
up for a solid effort from everyone onboard but found the action to be a pick at
best, never the less what the guys lacked in quanity they had in quality with
weakfish to 23" . The next day the Bob Fedan party had an other pick of weakfish
to 18" . Sundays trip was the best in both quanity and quality for the Cy
Collins Party .The guys not only scored a Barnegat Bay Grand Slam but they
topped their catch of nice kingfish, bluefish, weakfish , fluke [ throw back ] ,
with 3 stripers , with the biggest being caught by Cy himself ,going 24lbs !! [
Yes, in September !!! ] Way to Go Guys !!!!!
I love the summer but the action just keeps getting beter from Here !!!!
