Lake Habitat Projects to Improve Fishing
« on: September 22, 2008, 12:25:22 PM »
The NJ DEP Division of Fish and Wildlife's Bureau of Freshwater Fisheries has completed habitat enhancement projects in south Jersey. Working through partnerships with the Boy Scouts, South Jersey Bass Club Association, Hammonton Lake Water Quality Committee, and Atlantic County Division of Parks and Recreation, recycled evergreen trees and artificial structures were deployed at four lakes.

For information on which lakes, including GPS coordinates for locations of the artificial habitats, visit http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/artlakeprojects08.htm on the division's website.

Great info!  Nice that they gave coordinates for anyone going out in a boat.
