Striper Report, 9/26
« on: September 26, 2008, 10:30:17 PM »
A friend of mine works construction and presently is working on the Navasink bridge.  He always brings his rod with him with 1 casting plug.  After work today in the Navasink river, he landed 4 keeper stripers and 5 bluefish.  Seem like they are hitting top water plugs in the river.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.

I always take 200lbs of tackle with me as well.  Since he is woking near the bridge, he bring 1 rod with a 1 plug and leaves it in his truck and during lunch break and after work, the kills some time.  He has been watching tons of mullet all week, so he worked it and scored.
