Well I had the chance to get out last night for a bit.....Left the house around 10:30 and the wind was blowing hard out of the North West.

Fished the North end of the Barnegate Bay....Had fish as soon as I hit the deep water chanel that runs up the right side of little ditch.

I had Bass from 26" up the 39" all nice and fat...I did keep a fish last night....I found large spearing, snappers,Bunker and sand eels in its belly so they are feeding heavy.I tried to take a pic with my cell.... Didnt come out all that great. nosmly

Thanks Guys..... I tried again tonight....The wind was just to strong for me to get out.

I wanted to fish the same area....But I didn't have any cover from the hard North West wind....It was blowing straight up the bay.... It felt like I was white water kayaking at one point with waves comming right over the front of the kayak.

Last night every fish was on the yellow mambo minnow....Its the only lure that I will fish this time of year.

Looks like I'm just going to have to get up early and fish the beach uggggg.....I hate the beach....See what kayak fishing does to you.

Have a great night

Hey guys.....Just came home from a not so great night of fishing.

Left the house at 9:00 pm the wind was light out of the North with very little chop on the water.... Had bass busting water all over the bay last night.

Around 10:30 the wind picked up hard straight out of the North and had to keep pulling the anchor to reset my spot.....Then the not so good part.... A large boat with a mega spot light had to shine it on everything and anything including the water.....Well we know how that goes when the bass are on the feed and we shine light on the water that bright..... GAME OVER

I did manage to find a couple bass at another dock close by before the wind just got to crazy and the paddle back was a bitch.

Had 4 Bass all over 30" and very fat.....Will be out again tonight.....Hope the wind slows down a bit and the nice guy  nts with the spot light stays home.

Happy Fishing

Hey Dave, nice to see you today.  Good going on the bass last night.  I just finished filleting the bass for George and they are4 on their way home.

I am glad he caught as it was his 3rd outing with us and his first bass.  He's hooked and syked to get out there again.

He is a DAV with a lot of time on his hands.  We try to get him out whenever possible now.

Happy Catching

Paul
