Boston area
« on: May 11, 2007, 09:37:30 AM »
I'm thinking of visiting my brother in Boston around the 4th of July, and wondered if anyone had an info on fishing up there? Either a buddy with a boat, or open boat charter, or even a partyboat. Just ordered a traveling 3 pc rod from the Bass Pro shop catalog, so figure why not bring it and break it in.

Thanks in advance.

A good time for Stripers, Cod, Haddock, etc....a lot of boats sail out of Green Harbor (Marshfield Mass) about 30 miles south of Boston. You might try Capt Jim MacFarland Big Mac Charters 781-837-0308
www.bigmaccharters.net.  Jim is a great guy, personnal fried and I've fished with him for over 11 years. Should he be booked I'm sure he can steer you to the right boat. Good Luck
