Bayonne Park/Newark Bay report
« on: October 09, 2008, 06:43:28 PM »
Since I had no school today I went to the park to try to catch some snappers. When I got down there the wind was howling right in my face, but i still managed to get good distance on my casts. After about ten minutes and a bunch of follows one snapper decided to strike. After about another ten minutes i hooked a 6" striper. That was it for the day.Only stayed for about an hour. Most of the people around me were using bait and when they saw me catch the snapper and striper on a lure it looked like they wanted to rgmn,in my mind i was like rofla
