Doris Mae C-Bass 12/13-14
« on: December 15, 2008, 11:49:18 PM »
Went out Sat night and fished Sunday.
I had my limit and then helped my buddies get theirs. I had 38+ fish all over 13" some at around 24".  t^
First off, I have to give a big PROP to the Capt and crew of the Doris MAe out of BarnegetLight. The boat is clean and well maintained. The crew was friendly, and kept busy all day with the net and getting bait for all. They also made very nice fillets at the end of the day. The Capt was merciless, took us to not two but three drops and fished us till 3pm. I was hauling in fish the last hour, expecting each drop to be the last...

I'll post some pics of the fish later.

Good for you.  Sounds like a great trip.

The Eble family does a great job.  Whether its the Doris Mae or The Searcher.  And in the Spring, Summer and Autumn you can say hello to Doris in the tackle shop.

However, if you are "fishing royalty" don't expect special treatment.  They take care of all their customers equally.    rofla

Can't wait for the pics.  I am going on January 9 on the Voyager and can't wait.  THose offshore sea bass trips are the best.  A lot of fun.

Take care, y'all
