Title: Travelers Insurance Company. Already Screwing Their Clients
Post by: Hotrod on November 07, 2012, 09:57:53 AM
Just got off the phone with a "Friend" That told me he just got a cancellation notice from his boat insurance. as of Oct 25th.

As Most do.. Including my self... I have always made the payment a little late. Like a month.. since there is enough in the balance to carry you further.  He was one month late on his payment... they sent him his check back and a cancellation notice.

Lucky his boat is fine..

Can you believe it rgmn

Just a heads up on Travelers. I had them a few years ago and found out the the boat was not covered on tidal waters. Just check it out.

I wonder how many people's "in-water" coverage stopped prior to the storm and any damage they may have incurred. Another reason for the insurance company to deny a claim.  :P

How many just sign and never Read. Its a shame so many do just that. Some go years renewing the same policy.
I was almost Screwed when I bought my first House by a very Big PC of The Rock. It was not the company but a agent, That Tried. My Lawyer pointed out the problem to me before it went into effect.
Since then I read and have the Agent fully explain the policies. And add or subtract items as needed. And one important thing is Paying on Time. that to you can chose how and when even a grace period $$$ It never comes up till you need it. and to late to understand it. There will be many horror stories and many Lawyers making Money. (TIP). Their is a place to get help if you belong to a Union  www.unionplus.com
from Lawyers to where to get help. And questions answered.
