its like I dont look like a fat harbor seal to begin with when i'm surfen...  i know... i'll go around a bunch of bait fish and hook into a big striper and bring him close to me all tired and floppen... great...

Yes youl get wetter on a standup but the beauty is those composite standup are airwheight. Some of the 12 foot epoxies are under 20lbs.
