its like I dont look like a fat harbor seal to begin with when i'm surfen...  i know... i'll go around a bunch of bait fish and hook into a big striper and bring him close to me all tired and floppen... great...

Sorry....I need to pass... I cant keep my @#^ in the kayak I have now.... I have to stand and balance at the same time....no way... no how

lets get Nick or Rod to try it first....

Yes youl get wetter on a standup but the beauty is those composite standup are airwheight. Some of the 12 foot epoxies are under 20lbs.
