Spent the day working on the engine yesterday, just don’t know if it’s fixed. Was able to get it not to start once and at that’s when I was able to find a low voltage on an ignition circuit. Found three pins on the boat harness to engine harness corroded. Cleaned them up and the voltage came up. The engine started and I was not able to get it not to start the rest of the day. Is it fixed or not I don’t know.  It was much cooler outside then the days I was able to make it not start anytime I wanted. Guess it time to get back fishing and see what happens.  I hate when things are broken sometimes.

Now try explaining that situation to a customer!  "It happened once but hasnt happened since"  What the hell do you look for???  Yeah you may have ideas where to start, but can never feel 100% confident in the repair.

Sounds like the problem is fixed though, corrosion issues suck!!   Hit everything with Corrosion Block, the stuff works wonders.

Yea I hate when a customer tells me it does it sometimes. I spent around 4 to 5 hours trying to make it not start before I could get it not to start. I try to tell customers to try to figure out what they do to make a problem happen. It helps to save time and money.

If it’s broke, you can fix anything if you want to spend the money.
