I only fish Deep Water for fluke.60 to 75 feet. This is end of July.
I work all winter on tying 6 ounce bucktails for this deep water however the majority of the fish are on the teaser 15 inches off the bottom.I tye 1/2 ounce ball jigs and work them 15 inches off the bottom with the 6 ounce bucktail or sinker. Strips of Asian market squid on each. All I can say is it works. We catch BIG FLUKE on the lady J
