Me and Bob G headed to A/C for the seminar. Picked up Capt Mike and Hareball on the way.

Got our seats, second row and enjoyed the seminar.

I am not a big fan of a few guys standing on stage and talking about their accomplishments on the water. However, knowing that this is the format that is presented for this seminar I was able to put that part aside and listen to the 'tips' they were putting out while they talked. A lot of off shore talk this year with enough inshore things mixed it to make it interesting to all.

All in all, it was much better than last years event at Monmouth U. For the price, I would do it again next year.

As a side note, I did win a door prize of acouple of trolling lures.  ;D

They did cheap out on the bag that the goodies came in this year. Last year they gave a nifty gear bag to all who attended. This year, it was nothing more than a plastic shopping bag like you would get at the supermarket.  :P I did check their ad for the event and they did not advertise the bag in this years give aways. Hopefully, next year they will see the error in this.

No full house. A lot of people but plenty of room for more.

and Hooters did not have near enough HooterGirls on to handle the lunch rush in a timely manner. Oh well that was the worst of it; weather could have been WAY worse

I hear you on the Hooters problem Warren. But the problem was more with the asinine cook than the waitresses. We put our order in, waited over 45 minutes and it still wasn't on the grill!

Cook was doing orders for chicken first, then fish orders and left the other orders sitting until he finished the chicken and fish. He told the waitress it was working. There were people who came in after us, ordered, got served and ate before we got our food. We finally cancelled our order and walked out.

That cook had no business being there. Lost them a bunch of money that day and a lot of pissed off people.
