An unsettled weather pattern will dominate most of the week, with rain chances on Monday Night into Tuesday and Wednesday into Thursday. Monday Night into Tuesday and Wednesday Day will have a lower chance of scattered showers with likely more organized rain coming with the cold front on Wednesday Night into Thursday. Possible patchy fog on Tuesday Night. High temperatures will vary throughout the week from the upper 50's into the mid 60's and low temperature will begin to rise out of the 30's into the 40's & 50's. Water conditions will be cautious on Monday, Tuesday and Friday Morning for all inshore locations. Midshore to Offshore locations will be cautious on Monday, Hazardous on Tuesday and cautious again on Wednesday and then Friday Morning. Small Craft Advisories are likely Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until seas subside. Winds could reach 30 knot with higher gusts and seas 8-9 feet inshore with 11 feet midshore to offshore. Water temperatures are about the same from the weekend. Most inshore ocean waters are in the low 50's with bays and rivers into the mid 50's. Surf conditions will be moderate to high most of the week with a few chances at normal conditions. Monday conditions will begin to deteriorate from 0-2 and 1-2 foot waves increasing to 4-5 feet. On Tuesday wave heights will increase 7-8 feet then begin slowing subsiding to 1-2 again by Friday.
A look ahead to the weekend should be dominated by high pressure bringing dry and sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 60's. Water conditions look good for right now as well.
A large area of strong high pressure centered over southeast Canada will move to the northeast on Monday. Low pressure will develop off the Carolinas on Monday and move northeast passing by the region late Tuesday. A cold front will move through the region on Wednesday Night into Thursday Morning followed by high pressure buiding in over the end of the week into the weekend.
