Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

This really is a sad story.  A young man with a wife and child taken way too soon.  I hope they get to the bottom of exactly what happened.  At the very least we should all be on guard for any dangers out there.  There are still alot of submersed objects still in the water and floating around.  Besides the obvious damage they can do to your boat, hitting them at speed could send you flying and render you unconscious or worse.  My prayers are with this young man's family.
The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.

Hopefully it's him and the family can have some closure.

They have updated the story and say it is definitely him.  RIP Captain McAuliffe. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

This is a quote from another article. "McAuliffe's wife, Lynsey says that the propellers on the boat were shredded and bent which would have left McAuliffe with no way to steer the vessel." He apparently hit something very big.

Be careful everyone.  You can never have too many people on watch when you are fishing.

Tight Lines,
Bob G
