Spend the money on a Percy net. He is a good guy and makes a great net. If you get it chewed up he will fix it. Also will teach you how to throw it. Support the local guy. I love the net I baught off him.



I just picked one up yesterday. It was nice of Percy to show you how to throw it. Can't wait for Saturday, hope the weather holds.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

I picked up my percy this week and got to throw it for the first time on sunday ,my first throw I put 70-80 in the net ,3 throws and I had enough for 4 guys all day

How would one of the Percy nets work outside in the ocean? Out of Shark River, the only place for adult bunker is the ocean. We get plenty of peanuts in the basin later in the season, but no adults.

Better then anything else I imagine. Most don't come with the 40' of hand line that you need to net in deeper water.

Most times, those bunker are right off the beaches in 15-20' of water and are fairly shallow. The percy should have no problem (or Kay for that matter).

I was throwing in 20 foot and loading up w/ mine ,I have 40' of rope on it ,I dont think you will have much problem in open waters
