Cast Nets!!
« on: April 22, 2008, 08:09:44 PM »
We all now how little money we will have to fish this year.. So I found a guy in FLa. that is building nets.. Percy nets are great but at $225 a net this season its stuff for me to pick another one up. So after a little searching I found nets for $130 10ft net with identical specs as the Percy net.. If you need to get a net Pm for the link!

There is a guy on ebay selling west coast nets.  They retail for 179.  I made an offer of $50 and the seller countered at 59.  I believe shipping was 12.99.  It is a good deal. The net throws nice, although not the quality of the percy net.  The knots are bigger and heavier pound line.

Spend the money on a Percy net. He is a good guy and makes a great net. If you get it chewed up he will fix it. Also will teach you how to throw it. Support the local guy. I love the net I baught off him.
