Made the trec down to Del this weekend with the idea to fish both Sunday and then again Monday (to celebrate MLK's and Stelli's Birthdays) On Capt Scotts Bandit/Island Current.....
Sunday.... Unreal.... screaming wind from the south.. probably 25-30 knts at times...... left the inlet and tried to get offshore.... wasn't to be asd the seas were a building the further we went.... tried one snag before the Capt said screw this were going in... not pretty in 4-6's with an occasional larger one...Anyway Capt Scott made the right call and did the right thing as refunds were given to all....
Monday.... Martin and Stellios birthday bash... this was booked as a light charter with only 11 guys going.... fished local wrecks in beautiful calm seas... And man the first drop, and the second one were GOOD
Big fish flying in all around the boat.... as guys were boxing potential pool fish only to have it taken down a few minutes later.....
from what I remember everyone had at least one 10lb fish..... I do believe there were 21 fish OVER 10lbs.... of those 21 I think 5 of them were over 12.... which include John Tuckers 15lber, and Mr Shinns 14 lb fish.....
