The Daiwa's a nice reel. We sell the larger 253 and the 300 size. It has a magnetic cast control on the palming side of the reel that lets you dial up more or less spool resistance to minimize backlashes.
Personally, for that size and type reel, I prefer the Calcutta 200. It doesn't seem as fancy as the Daiwa, but it has a centrifugal cast control (which I prefer), a forged body (as opposed to machined), and the parts for Shimano reels are often easier to come by than for Daiwa. Plus, even though it only has 3 bearings (my old one only has two), the Calcutta is still very smooth, casts great and is built like a little tank!
