today is giving everyone the fever.  I usually don't start with the boat until I know we don't go below the freezing mark anymore. I usually look at the first or second weekend in March to be safe, then work on her so she is ready for the first weekend in April.

I feel your pain. I'm ready to wet the boat. I told the boat yard I wanted to be in by March 20th. I have the cabin so I don't care if it's still a little chilly. Today's weather is only a tease, but I like it.

that is a  big benefit for using the Blue Tarp as opposed to shrink wrap......when weather turns nice I just undo a couple lines crawl under the tarp and start working.......get a lot of stuff done and boat still covered incase it turns bad again

thats true with the blue tarp, but when I used the shrink wrap, I had them put an access panel in it for that reason

I'm going to try for the last week of March and hopefully be in the water by mid April. Maybe sooner if the weather cooperate with us

I did not manage to cover mine yet so I've been cleaning the little bit of snow out of it we did have. Not much to do to mine except hull wax, couple of zincs, botom paint, change a ducer, and [ maybe ]carb rebuids. I guess thats plenty considering I have a whole bunch of customer work to do.

Just got a call this morning that Mother Nature in all her fury unwrapped my boat yesterday. Gotta run down today and replace the tarp.  :P

Maybe Mother Nature is telling you to get ready early and she is just helping you by taking off the tarp.

Can't leave it off. My deck is cut up to repair a soft spot. Gotta keep it unexposed to the elements.  :P
