CapeMay Bodacious SeaBasstrip 02/05/09
« on: March 05, 2009, 11:07:44 PM »
Went out on the Bodacious out of CapeMay to jig for some SeaBass.
The weather was beautiful and the seas were calm. I wouldn't have minded a little more wind for the drift but why complain.  ;D

The fishing was great. I didn't keep my limit(kept 18) but the fish were big.  Many around me got their limits. I was using a 7 1/2oz hammered diamond jig tipped with a bit of squid.  Saw a lot of triples and doubles by the bait fishermen by the stern.
I had one real nice one on the second to last drift.

I'll post some pics when my friend emails them to me.
