Tsunami Fishing Rods
« on: May 25, 2007, 09:30:43 PM »
I posted this on NJH and figured I should put it hear also since this is a fishing site...

I have four of these rods. I just want to tell everyone how great their Customer Service is.

This is the e-mail I sent them,

Hello, I purchased a 7 foot CLASSIC SERIES rod last fall and while
using this past Monday I noticed the cork at the butt of the handle has broken off.
The rod blank is showing, as a matter of fact I also have a 7 1/2
CLASSIC SERIES rod that I put tape on because of the same problem.
Please let me know what can be done to remedy this situation.
I don't live far from your offices in case you need to see the rods.

Thanks in advance, Richard

This is the e-mail I received from them,

Hello Richard
You can bring the rods in for replacement.   Please let me know the exact model numbers of the defective
rods so I can make sure that they are in stock and have someone examine them prior to you coming to pick them up.

Cindy Leonard

So if your looking for a great rod at a great price give them a try...

Thanks for the heads up on the company.  All too often anymore they don't want to hear from you once they have your $$$.  Good to know there are a few decent companies out there.

I have been looking at their rods real nice.  I like it that their in NJ (Mahwah).  Thanks for the post makes my decision process a little easier.

Most of the tackle shops and good sporting goods stores carry their brand as well.

I have one Tsunami rod in my arsenal (actually it's my son's ). A Tsunami TSCC 701 XH rod that is paired with a Abu Big Game 7000HSN reel.

He uses it for clamming/chunking/live lining  bass as well as jigging bass/blues.

IMHO, for the $$ it's a good quality stick.

i now have 6 of these rods on the boat, and dont have a single complaint about them, specially after last weekend, with the abuse they took. the xxheavy's are working real well for me trolling stretch 25's and spoons w/ drail weights.
All your tuna's are belong to me
