with cabin fever in full swing, and it starting to warm up, i'm sure alot of us are dreaming of past catches.

with that, what would you say was/is your best catch, and i mean your, as in you or your boats best yet. being the best might not mean the biggest, but most enjoyable.

for me, i'd have to say mine came last spring, when my step-pop got his 44" 38lb striper on the troll with the bunker spoons i won at last years njswf party.

just standing back and watching, with net in hand it was so enjoyable to watch the fight unfold. reel some line,,, loose some line, it was an epic battle for both of the old timers,, the fish and ron. the hooting and hollering's of pure excitement that ron was giving was awsome, and i'm damn glad we got to share that moment.
All your tuna's are belong to me

awesome fish; many good memories

I am remembering rockfish in SH rips one fall night- all slammers 35" +up reeling till you were too tired. It was a bonanza, we had a couple doubles and I remember a triple working for what may have been 30sec before it all went bad. I think we actually had 3 good nights over 5 days that week.
Tide was perfect and fish were there and HUNGRY. Kept some for the freezer, set a few free. That was a few years ago, before we had YSA. No pictures either...

We need some nights like that this year!
