Mantoloking Bridge Pier 4/18
« on: April 19, 2009, 10:23:02 PM »
Finally got to the pier around 12:30 after stopping at Brielle Bait and Tackle for some sandworms. Was a beautiful day minus the wind. After being there for about 4 hours, landed my first flounder(keeper) with only 2 worms left. Fished another hour or so and nothing.... Didn't see much happenning from the boats in the area as well.

Went back after sundown around 9:30pm to toss a mambo minnow for bit to try for some striper but nothing. Saw 2 pulled in though, both short(22" and 24") but still a catch.

Good going Drew.  At least you caught all I got were sore mussels from working out side today.
