St.Croix Legend Inshore

My new St. Croix just arrived this week.  It's a 7' Legend Inshore spinning rod (model LIS70MF).  It's medium power,  fast action rod, rated for    8 - 17 lb. line and 3/8 oz. - 3/4  oz. lures.  The best part is, it weighs a mere 4.2 oz. total! t^

I went out after work the other night and threw a couple different plugs and jigs on it to see how it casts, and it felt sweet!  I'll be bringing it with me down to Florida this week. So hopefully I'll soon be able to tell you how it handles big fish! ;D
