Nighttime Bassin'

I was hoping to pick up some tips on bass fishing at night.  We have been having a hard time during the day-seems to be a very early bite-done by 0730 in most cases and figured we'd try to hit them at night. 

Is the fishing much better at night on the ocean?

Any change in tactics needed?
