Irish Ayes bass/fluke trip 6-7-09
« on: June 07, 2009, 07:14:15 PM »
Had the usual suspects out today. Found bunker from Shark River inlet to Elberon. No bass on them. Snagged a couple dozen and after no bass hits decided to do some fluke fishing.

Hit several spots fluking. Being a non wasteful person we cut up some of the bunker for fluke strip bait.

With fresh bunker, some squid and smelt we caught and kept five nice fluke. The biggest was caught by Johnny Oz, that being a six pounder. Way too many shorts caught. All released to fight another day.

Will be back at it tomorrow.  t^
