Finally got a 30lber

Headed south wed. afternoon into the wind and tide which made for a crappy but well worth it ride.  I got a call that they were boating slobs so I kicked it up a notch. finally got to the area to find lots of boats and plenty of marks on the ff but I could not get any bunker. Had some left over clams and tried those and some pencil poppers to no avail. Boats all around us catching slobs. Getting a bit angry I moved out to deepe water to try to find bunker to snag but only saw a few scattered marks. 60 foot of water I decided to drop clams and to jig a bunker butterfly. A few minutes later,  fish on the jig. About 26-28 lbs. moved out again and dropped a clam and as soon as it was on the bottom , fish on again. little bigger than the last. 3 other people on the boat and nothing for them. moved out again and repeated the last drift to have a bass chase the butterfly jig right to the boat. BAM  33lbs. Was going to be release but he inhaled the stinger hook. Was getting too dark and my buddy lost one at the boat on a popper so we called it a daay. A GOOD DAY.
