I'll start by saying I'm new to the site, and I think I'm hooked.Nice to see fishermen helping each other, and judging buy the pics you guys post,I could use some help.After 4 fishless trips last week,fishing hard and burnin gas, I finally hooked up.It happened at the best time, as I had my wife and son along.It was there first chance to witness a surface blitz. Actually had bass chasing my bare treble hook. Kudos to my wife for hooking the first bass of the season. Maybe now she gets it!

It pays to persevere.  patients is always good.  With fishing and catching being so far apart at times sometimes it is a virtue that all newbies have to learn especially off the surf.

Congrats on the fish and hope it brings you many more for your family to enjoy.

Welcome aboard  grtn, and great job with the bass. I am also out of point if you are having difficulty finding fish give me a hollar on 68 or 16 my name is rob and my boat is the Suzanna, if im on them i'll let u know where they are.

to keep your wife hooked you must continue to let her catch the biggest and most fish

and make it seem like she's really doing it by herself  hhppy
