Viper Spoon?
« on: June 17, 2009, 12:41:30 AM »
I was just checking out a website on some fluke rigs that I wanted to buy to use for my next sunday fluke trip on the Dorothy B. I fished it last sunday , fared out pretty well. Will have a report soon just waiting for my girlfreind to post the pictures!

Anyway, I heard a viper spoon with some squid, or killie, or gulp on the hook works realllly good ? According to the people on videos and on google. Is it a lie ? I ordered one for 7 bucks off bassproshops.

Fish On
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

I'm sure it will work!  I bet the blues will love it's flashy color too :P.  It's basically a Croc Spoon or any type of jigging spoon with the built in stinger hook.  They use them a lot for muskie.  You can either vertically jig them or horizontally bounce them off the bottom.  Probably another good lure in your arsenal of tools.

Good Luck!
