Pilot - Drifting for fluke 6/17
« on: June 17, 2009, 05:10:14 PM »
???  Took a trip to the marina to organize a few tackle boxes, repair minow pot, etc.  Todd from the marina suggested I put her in just in case I felt like running a bit.  Well you know, you can't, just not go out.  I ended up filling the tank and decided to putter around some spots right in the backyard. Not the ideal conditions with the East/SE wind but gave it a try anyway. Fished the shrewsbury from the mouth of the river down to twin lights.  Set up a new route to work the skinny water across to spermecetti.   A few other boaters were out there with me.  Bounced spros, killies and squid.  Also, checked out the Coast Guard station.

Not a touch over three hours   5hrug First full blown skunk of the year. Hopefully the last.  Got my gear sorted out   chrz

If you were a pro bass fisherman they would say that you "eliminated a lot of unproductive water today." ;D
