6-19 Bassin
« on: June 20, 2009, 09:06:30 AM »
Me and Kevmac set out on our friend Kevins 28 parker "7-G's". We left Manasquan inlet around 5:30 and had bunker right away with bass on them.  We played a while with no takers.  We headed north a bit and found the fish and it was on.  Big swirls every where it was crazy.  The three of us limited out before 10 releasing 3 or 4 30lb fish best fish two 34 pounders Kevmac was def high hook.  No pic's of cap. kevin he's not a picture guy but did a stellar job finding the fish. Thanks again Kev

nice trip!! sounds like u need a recipe...made this today and it was pretty damn good.
1/2teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, lemon pepper, sea salt to taste...mix it ,put on fish like a dry rub....then finely chop 4 cloves of garlic and some fresh parsley....melt a stick of butter and add garlic and parsley...remove from heat when melted....lightly oil a grill grate...grill fish for 7min...flip...drizzle with butter, garlic, parsley mix....before serving drizzle with a cap of olive oil.....its quick and good! rice and a salad...and a beverage or three! chrz
