Started out in the morning with a half day trip for Keri Harkleroad and family for some fluke.
Left dock at 6:30 and had perfect conditions all morning on an out going tide....just a blast as they have never fluke fished before and they caught on nicely with 7 keepers to 22 inches and about 50 throwbacks.
Then we did a last minute night bass trip....Left on the start of outgoing with a west wind....just beautiful conditions and we made our run to the first stop....well, by the time we got there, someone turned on the switch to the south wind blower and we had a fun time trying to hold bottom with 8 ounces....for two hours.Had a couple of hits and misses and headed back to the S.H. rips. nice slower drift there but marked only a couple of fish which didnt want to eat anything anyway. Headed to a spot inside a little only to find unfishable conditions in a s.w. wind crankin with the outgoing tide....3.6 knot drift. called it a night at 12:30 a.m. and headed for the barn with 2 nice 22 inch fluke and no bass!
