Today I ran an open boat wreck trip that had Ron,Jessie and Lou catch a nice pile of seabass with some real slobs mixed in. It was flat calm most of the day with just a little annoying east current. The guys had a blast when we got on a nice sweet spot of jumbo knuckle heads. The 2lb and 3lb fish looked big until the 4lb stuff showed. The guys finished with 66 seabass to 4.4 lbs and 2 nice ling. We left the seabass bitting to try some blackfishing. We found a good bite but we could not get through the 12 to 13inch fish to get to the big boys. Good action just no meat in the box. Just another great day to spend with some very good people. Cant wait to see what these fish do when they get off the spawn. I checked some old log books and looks like the best is yet to come
Give us some good conditions and its lights out. Good luck all and catch them up
