Back in DE
« on: July 20, 2009, 07:42:11 PM »
Hello all

Back in DE again. My last week. Fished Saturday and the weather folks lied again. Winds and seas were 2x what was for cast. Didn't catch one fish all day as the drift was 1.5 to 2 kts. Did not want to mess with the drift sock, so we headed in. Sunday was much better. We fished the structures on Reef Site 10. Caught a few keeper flats at 21" and 24". We also boated a few Tog. Yes tog on minnows and squid. Who would figure. Headed out again today and fished the same site. Lost lots of rigs and lead. Boated 4 shorts and no keeper fluke. Fished for them with Bunker fillets. Also boated 5 more tog, with one keeper at 16". Again on squid and minnows. Will be out again the rest of this week weather permitting. Will post again soon. Back home end of the week and fishing the Raritan and N. Jersey again soon.
