Launched out of leonardo early yesterday morning with an incoming tide. Made several drifts on south side of naval pier.First flattie landed was exactly 18" and the only keeper of the day. Caught a few shorts there until the bay turned into a lake, which forced me to relocate to the tip of the hook with the party boat fleet. I didn't see many fish being caught by surrounding boats out there,so I pulled in tight to the tip of the hook and found some action, but no size! caught 7 fluke, all 15-17+" and 2 sea robin using Gulp shrimp with a squid teaser.
FINAL STATS: 5 1/2 HOURS,11 FLUKE,ONLY 1 KEEPER
AND 2 SEA ROBIN. But the weather was nice, the boat ran good, and best of all, I was fishing, not working!! BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE IN THE FUTURE!!
