I want to make sure I have what I need for the trip.
How many rigs would I bring?  5? 10? more?
What weight and quantity sinkers?
Anything else I need?

Chris,

Joe's bringing the sinkers. t^  I wouldn't buy any pre-made rigs.  Get yourself some snelled size 3/0 octopus hooks or size 4 Virginia style hooks.  If you've got a spool of 50 lb. or 60 lb. mono or leader material bring it along.  Otherwise, I'll have some for you to use.

Should be a great trip!  See you there! ;D

Somedays you can go through alot of rigs and sinkers.  I generally bring much more than I'll need.  Lug a bag of lead around, but rather have it and not need than the other way around.

I could always spare a few rigs as well. t^

I'll have rigs tied up beforehand and bring extra stuff, just wasn't sure where to start on quantities.

They have sinkers. Not nice flat ones but regular banks ;)

If you have 10 rigs pretied, that's a good start.  Sinkers in 8-12ozs is probably what we'll use.

Sea bass is still open in state waters. Closed in federal waters (3 miles+ out).
