Phyllis Ann - Barnegat Ridge - 8-18

Met up with CAPTAIN...Mike, Joe and Jay.. from our Florida Keys trip last year) at the boat at 10:30 AM.  Captain Jay was spending some time in NJ away from his Caribbean Life style..

Headed out into a Confused Sea and set up the lines around Noon.

Can't say the action was great.. but we managed a handful of Bonita along with a triple hook up of Large Blues.. I took the way out line and thought I had a Mahi with the acrobatics this baby was performing..

The sea really started to build around 5:Pm so we decided to make our way in..

Capt. Mike took the helm and got us home through some pretty intense water..IMO.

lets just say there were a few times you heard.. BIG WAVE PORT SIDE ;D

Needless to say.. a great time on the water with great friends..  and many Laughs ;D

Yea.. It was a crew of "Jobless".

Rod.. Union Carpenter. off 5 -6 months a year.. thank god for Unemployment Insurance and the wife having a real job.
Capt Joe.. well we all know that one. The only thing different from when he was a Cop.. is his check is now drawn from the pension fund  ;D
Capt Mike.  well hat's off to his wife for keeping up the business he built, while he's out fishing every day  t^

Capt Jay. yea Ok... I live and sail the Caribbean in a 60 Foot Catamaran and take clients to neat little coves and call it work  ;D

Yea.. the big dogs made me remove the deck chairs.. so 2 small coolers took their place.. Oh the crying all day wishing they had the chairs ;D ;D
