Headed out For day of fluking. Ryan and His Father, Tommy, and John and the Boys from Pa rounded out da crew...
Headed out to pancake flat seas up to the Rough bottom...
Started out great... drift was a little slow... but 4 nice keepers and lots of shorts our first drift... Next drift a couple more keepers n shorts...
Then we got some current and starting drifting nice picked at a few more...
But after that it went downhill quick, Like someone threw the light switch, as soon as we got the south breeze even though it was light combined with the current the action died ...
Bounced around we picked a couple more but it just got to quick...
Headed inshore we we have been having good action - Dead-
Worked our way back shallow and deep and it stunk...
So the morning and afternoon were like 2 completely different days...
For what the fishing lacked the afternoon the boys made up in busting... Lots of Busting... Fit right in
Congrats to Ryan Scubanut the star angler who stepped up his Bucktailing game today by landing his Limit to 5lbs by 930am!!! Everyone fished hard all day trying to put some keepers in da box...
By days end we Wound up with 18 keeper fluke. No Big fish Mostly 18-19 in keepers with a couple of 5 lbers.
Thanks again guys!!!
Couple days off with da weather and we will be right back at em till its over!!! Then Back to the Bottom creatures
