Expectations weren't high, but hoped the bite would start to turn around. Weather was beautiful, swell laid down, and the water cleaned up nicely.
Fishing.......ok. Had to really work for them and the bite was definitely non-existant in the open bottom. Fish were really tight to structure.
My 10 year old showed me up once again and made me look really bad (Great for him!) thumbsup2
He had 3 nice keeper fluke, half dozen seabass including one big knucklehead. Shorts were definitely the norm with the occasional keeper coming over the rail.
One keeper fluke for me with a few seabass.
