IBSP 8/30 Very Aggravating day
« on: August 30, 2009, 09:23:09 PM »
Headed to the surf section a10 with my GF and her son and his GF for a little beach time. Brought the tackle and bought some bait on the way. Parked the car in A10 and popped the trunk only to find a missing tackle box, left it at home. IDIOT I AM!

Drove all the way back, 45 minute round trip, got back with the family on the beach. Alot of beach buggies around and good size waves. Baited up with some Gulp crabs and some clam/squid combo. Cast out and the current was so damn strong, I would cast to my right and not 25 minutes later my bait was straight to my left and I tangled in another anglers line 3 times, really pissed me off. So I am super aggravated now and I get tangled a 4th time and this time its a doosey. I am standing in the surf up to my thighs and I get smacked by a wave I didn't see coming because I was untangling line. Wave knocked my to my knees and right on top of my pole, snapping it in two right at the spot where it comes together, GARBAGE now. Takes me and the other guy 30 minutes to untangle our lines, cutting mine first and then cutting his braided line. Gave him all my brand new unused bait and told the family I was DONE! Huffed it back to the car and came home and jumped in the pool!!

One of the top 5 worst days for fishing for me!!!

I think its a going to be a while before I go back to the surf. I really got down today on it and the way things were going for me and when that happens I tend to stay away from whatever aggravates me to that extent.

Not to get into my personal life because I don't want to burden you folks with it. Just been real difficult lately dealing with my ex wife, child support, going to court, GF not really into the child support and alimony. Not to make it ALL ABOUT ME but I just wish sometimes the people around me would give me more MORAL SUPPORT! Ya know?

Wow, not good all around.  I have not had one of those days in a long time but Sh!# happens but to compound things and being blind sided like that hurts.   :-\
