Monsters ledge?

Thinking about going to the ledge this weekend for shark has any one been out there is it to late for shark I have never gone wanted to get a trip in b4 the end of the season what are your thoughts on this

the ledge is holding tuna now ( blue fin and false albicore ) if you go better have a permit fish cops will follow you in on radar and board you

Water temps are in the upper 60 which is perfrect for makos. There have been lots of skippies, albies, bluefish and bluefins around so the sharks are there also. A number of makos and threshers are being caught a little further off.

Thanks for the info guys do I need a permit for certain species or every thing what can I an can I not keep with no permit I dident relize I needed the permit

as a recreational fisherman you only need an hms(highly migratory species)permit....this covers tunas and sharks

We fish the Monster Ledge quite often chasing shark.  I would have no problem with teaming up on a trip.  What size boat?  Where are you out of?
