Capt.Ron/Fishermen/ 10/13/09
« on: October 13, 2009, 01:32:49 PM »
Been clamming for bass since last wednesday, hopeing things would pick up. Friday we had a shot of fish (all in the AM) including a 21 pounder, Saturday we didn't sail, Sunday and Monday produced just a couple fish.
Yesterday, I had Mike Brown and his son out for his birthday, last year on the same day we boated 41 keepers..Mike and his son had 5 of them! The only consulation for him yesteday was, he did get the pool fish.
Temp. drop and the NE coming this week should get things a little more active....Been going nuts since the early Fluke closing.
The afternoon trips are finished for this season, too say I'm dissapointed with the way that went is an understatement.
Like every customer who comes on board or every person who reads these fishing reports, our future is in someone else's hands!! Keep sending those letters, get involved in a organization, do something other than skipping to the next report, waiting for a miracle to happen. 2010 is going to be even tougher with some of the new crap comming down the pipe.
Even a personal vent or Blog gets people going and keeps important issues in the public's eye..Thanks! Capt. Ron

Nice report Capt.

We need many more people involved in the fight. Don't just complain amongst each other, send your complaint to someone who can do something about the poor regs, your politicians. Give them an earful and let them know you are tired of all the crap.  t^
