This weeks fishing at IBSP.
« on: October 19, 2009, 02:56:10 PM »
It looks like things are looking up.  IBSP is open again but watch out for the cuts if you go soon.  I might get out there Wednesday but defiantly Thursday as my weekly outing with my Uncle will be then.

Right now clams are the bait of choice as the beds I have heard took a good beating.  The bass will be looking for the bass candy till things calm down.

I am looking forward to a good run and so far it has not disappointed.

If anyone else is going try and post as this week could be a good one while the water is still cloudy it should become clearer as the week progresses.

Happy Catching

Paul

I'm at work now for the next 36 hours.  I'm hoping to get out Wednesday late morning / afternoon.  And planning things around a morning trip Thursday.  And then maybe a trip Friday with the wife since she's off.

Good luck if you go Jason.
And I'll probably see you out there Paul.

Sounds good Chris.  I think my Uncle is hooked...He is like a little kid, that can't wait to go fishing.  He already has his truck loaded already except for the poles.  Got to love it.

Happy Catching

Fished with my 5year old from 1:00 till 4:30 nothing at all.

Next time try a different bait.  I heard they are not biting on 5 year olds lately. ;D

And, oh yeah...  Welcome! t^

Heading out to the park for a couple hours this afternoon.  Then back at it Thursday and Friday morning.
Gonna soak a few clams today and do a little post storm scouting.
Next two days will be a more serious effort.

Welcome Aboard Flat-Foot,

Don't mind Bob he is harmless.  We tried throwing him back but he keeps showing up.  I guess we will have to keep em.

Any questions just throw them out there the guys are great and above all we are a no hassle site.  If you would like to jump right in feel free to do so.

My stomping grounds are from MI to BI and my favorite beach is IBSP.  I will be out there early in the morning on Thursday and see what shows up.

Again Welcome Aboard

Happy Catching
