Better conditions and a better bite today  ;D Threw the needlefish a little bit and took a 30" bass early and that was it. Took a break and went back at low water and it was fish on the bars. A dark red tube on the metal did the job this afternoon along with the green feather teaser. Blues mixed in today with the bass. Good action till the tide went all out.

Hit the suds again today. On the beach before first light, I had hits right away on the green back needlefish. Beached 2 short bass and a blue before some re-rigging interupted the action  rgmn. Cris had action with metal/teaser and beached 3 shorts too. Action died out by 7 or so with only scattered fish for those that hung around.

Back to the beach this morning 7AM. Hard NE wind so the metal/teaser was it.Green & green teaser too ! Wild fishing in rough conditions on dropping tide. Had a few doubles of short bass and one nice 30" bass. These fish fought like they had "beer Muscles". Lost one gooooood one that opened a duo-lock snap on the teaser after a good long run. Lots of fun  ;D

Casting from the surf this morning was slow for me. Ocean still rough and dirty. I had one short on metal. only a few guys out and heard results were similar. Sunny and warm, maybe I'll go back later.  ;D

On the beach at 6:30 AM and brought the bait rod. Clams produced 2 stripers and 1 was 28"+. Threw metal/teaser for a while but only 1 hit. Spoiled after the action before the storm. Water was dirty and kinda rough. 8oz to hold  and it rolled a little.Saw only a few fish caught and a light crowd today  ;D
