Light NE=BASS
« on: October 26, 2009, 08:38:51 PM »
Got down to the surf by late morning and saw some action so I got involved. Stripers were hitting clams but decided to throw metal and teaser. Got away from the bait guys and picked away at mostly small bass with 1 just over 28". The incoming tide till it started to drop had the fish close to beach. My fish hit green. Both jig&teaser caught today. 16 fish total.Kept 1 Northern Ocean with a good spread down the beach or so I heard.

Back at it today. Bass on high water again. Nice action only a little rain and a little more wind but the fish are there. Jig&teaser produced a dozen fish but no keepers for me. I did see a few keepers taken nearby.

Hit the beach on Sat. afternoon Around 3PM and found the fish waiting. Caught bass up to just over 28" on metal/teaser. The block tin W/green on the hook again. Caught 1 small blue among about 10 total bass in about 2 hrs and then it died. Northern Ocean,  and that south wind was crankin Woweeee, but it didn't stop the fish  t^

No wind in my face this morning but the surf was definitely up !!! Casting metal/teaser only one hit again but a nice 29" bass hit the beach at around 7AM. Stayed around another hour but that was it. Nice sunny day to get out, fish&vote  ;D
