Stripers on the beach Lavallette Ortley and Seaside
« on: November 03, 2009, 09:04:54 PM »
Fished on the beach from 11:00am to 5:00PM picked up a 30inch on a green and yellow teaser Lavallette. A 28 1/2 on the same thing in Seaside By the pier almost in the pier 5hrug
then my last one was a nother 30inch on a green and black teaser in Ortley.ALL fish were on teasers. threw 2 back kept the 28 1/2 inch.
tyred clams also but no luck with that ???
when i got home i fillet the bass and when looked in the stomach and it was filled with sand eels
i mean 20 to 30 in there all about 5 inches and some bigger. I guess thats why they were hitting the teasers.
P.S
Dinner was ummmm ummmm ummm chrz

Good going...I just tied a new batch of teasers up and looking to get them wet.

It seems like the colors are red and chartreuse again this year.  Pretty cool.
