Stripers and Blues 11/8 Point Beach Surf (Even a pic) :)

Hit Point Pleasant Beach this morning with my brother in law. We got some blues and stripers.  One keeper bass at 31 inches and the biggest blue was 24 inches....beautiful day and we had a great time.   ;D 
Used ava jigs with the green tubes - red wasnt working at all.  Blues were STUFFED with sand eels! I also went there Sat. am for a little over an hour and caught and released a nice blue.

Dammit weekends are so bad for me. see what you did now im have to go fishing and my wife is going to get all pissed. Oh well I hope I get lucky at the beach because im not getting lucky when i get home rgmn  hhppy thud

Thanks all!  chrz My brother in law went back out this a.m. at Pt. Beach all the way from Roselle Park and sent me pics of 2 more keeper bass he got (while I was driving to work!)  SHOULDA TAKEN A SICK DAY!!! 5hrug

Their there guys...Right now the hot spot is Brick Beach and spots all the way to the BI.

It seems like the dead low to the start of the incoming are the best in the pre dawn.  Just look for the cuts ans fish the insides.  Again the bait if choice has been clams and metals with teasers as the sand eels are still all over the place.
