Could not pass up the great clear night. called Scott and head out to the upper bay. The sea was like glass. reached the area around 6pm and drifted eels. On the first drift I had a nice tug on the line then the fight was on. I fought this fish for around 5 minutes while Scott prepped the net and the gaff. The Striper kept taking line and I eased up on the drag a bit so I would not lose it. Finally we had it boatside for the second time and Scott masterfully netted the 25lb and 40" Striped Bass. we made several more drifts and had no bites. We made it back to the marina by 10pm and cleaned up. It was a good night and the weather was great. Good luck,, Eddie
